And the countdown is on. Only a few days are left for three legends,
three giants, three Latin American and international voices to be united
on one stage throughout the United States. It is going to be an
unforgettable experience for Latin music lovers - salsa, ballads, pop,
romance and hip swaying.
They are Chayanne, Marco Antonio Solis and Marc Anthony
who will engage in the first 2012 Gigantes Tour starting Friday, August
3. It’s Puerto Rico, Mexico and New York being represented in almost a
month and a half tour.
Rehearsals are underway in Miami at the American Airline Arena where
the first concert of the tour will begin. Each concert will be three
hours and filled with many unexpected surprises. There will also be 10
lucky fans in each city that will have the opportunity to meet all three
singers. They want to award fans that have always supported them.
Although it is not known yet how they will be selected.

“Gigantes is a unique show where all of us are going to have fun
because we are going to give our fans a music exchange,” stated Marc
Anthony actor and singer who has sold more than 12 million albums
worldwide.
Chayanne, Puerto Rican singer and winner of several Latin Grammy
awards, explained that each singer will sing their most successful hits
of their genre but there will be exciting moments where the three will
sing together. “We are going to join our music styles in order to have
the party (show) that we want to have with lots of energy on stage,”
explained Chayanne, “This is a tour of people that love music. Each one
in his own genre and with a career of many years, together these
energies will be wonderful.”
Gigantes is a project that developed from friendship among the three.
“This didn’t come from nothing. It’s been spoken of because there is a
friendship behind it all and great respect among us, as the same for the
public. That is what we are going to demonstrate on stage,” stated
Chayanne.
Marc, Chayanne and Marco Antonio have shared stages before during
Juntos Tour. “We have shared the stage before. So, the simple fact that
we returned with this combination says a lot. We had a great time, we
are true friends and we have taken care of each other when necessary,”
added Marc Anthony, “We hope to show this to the public.”
Everyone will enjoy the concert regardless of nationality or region
where they live. “The fans don’t identify themselves by nationality but
by their musical taste. I think that in the east just as in the west the
sensitivity is the same, because people that like music don’t
differentiate between nationalities,” commented Marco Antonio Solis.
The Gigantes Tour will visit 14 cities in the United States including
Miami, Orlando, Chicago, Houston, Dallas and San Antonio and ending
September 14 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
